Blind Beast Vs Killer Dwarf [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC] review

Posted : 17 years ago on 15 April 2007 05:05 (A review of Blind Beast Vs Killer Dwarf [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC])

A disappointng entry in a fine career. Badly shot and directionless. While Ishii may not be the greatest director ever this is unworthy for him, he was surely asleep at the wheel during this one. It's too bad that this is his epitaph.

A great documentary about violence in America. Features a great interview with Edmund 'The Co-ed Killer' Kemper. Very imformative an very explicit, not for the weak stomached.

Muzan-E review

Posted : 17 years ago on 15 April 2007 03:45 (A review of Muzan-E)

Very graphic horror movie from, surprise, Japan. Lots of gore and sexual violence. If you liked the Guinea Pig movies, you should see this.

Irreversible review

Posted : 17 years, 4 months ago on 24 November 2006 06:47 (A review of Irreversible)

Few movies make me cringe or feel incomfortable, but this one does. Uncompromising brutality and disturbing realism make this a very unsettling film.

Stuart Gordan and Jeffrey Combs at their best. Wonderfully humorous, but not silly. Gore galore! A must see.

V for Vendetta review

Posted : 17 years, 4 months ago on 24 November 2006 06:44 (A review of V for Vendetta)

A great movie. Updates Moore's comic without lossing the feel of it. Very relevent to the times, but not preachy. The best graphic novel adaptation yet.

Straw Dogs - Criterion Collection review

Posted : 17 years, 4 months ago on 24 November 2006 06:43 (A review of Straw Dogs - Criterion Collection)

A very powerful film. A study in what it takes to push a man over the edge. Not a Peckinpah fan, but this is a great movie. Hoffman and George give excellent performances.

Audition (Uncut Special Edition) review

Posted : 17 years, 4 months ago on 24 November 2006 06:42 (A review of Audition (Uncut Special Edition))

One of my favorite movies. Starts out slow, and builds to a crazy final 15 minutes. The fiirst 1/2hr is like a japanese romance/drama, but gets creepier and creepier, leading to an excellent twist ending.

A decent collection of Snogs videos. Some are not that creative, but worth it for Snog fans.
